Ingredients for puri
3 cup wheat flour
1tsp oil
Water for Knead dough
Ingredients for aloo sabji
Aloo- 250g
Matar- 100g (optional)
Chopped
Tomatoes- 1
Chopped Onion - 1
Chopped Garlic- 6-7 flack
Chopped Ginger -1 slice
Cumin seeds- 1tsp
Asafoatida -1 pinch
Kasuri mathi- 1 tsp
Mango powder -1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2tsp
Turmeric- 1/4 tsp
Oil- 2-3 tsp
Salt according to taste
Chopped Green coriander leaves
How to make Aloo puri
For puri:
Knead the wheat flour into stiff dough with 1 tsp oil and water as required.
Make small balls and roll into round's having 4-5 inch diameter.
Heat oil for deep frying fry the purses in oil till they get puffed and golden brown.
Serve the hot puris with hot aloo sabji along with onions slice and green chilli.
For aloo sabji:
Heat some oil in pressure cooker and add Cumin seeds and cook it till brown add asafoetida, chopped garlic, ginger and onion cook it till golden brown than add chopped tomatoes.
Cook it till soft. Add Aloo and u can add matar also it's optional add water and pressure cook it for 3-4 whistles. Or till the aloo are cooked.
Open the lid and simmer the aloo sabji by pressing few cooked aloo by spoon. On the side of the cooker.
This is the get slightly too thicker consistency of the gravy.
Now sprinkle some garam Masala and mango powder and mix well
Garnish with green coriander leaves.
Serve hot with puri
