Dahi bhalla

Ingredients  for making dahi bhalle

Urad  dal (without  skin)- 250g
Ginger- one slice
Green chilly- 1
Black pepper powder -2-3 tsp
Red  chilly  powder -2-3 tsp
 Roasted cumin  seeds  powder - 2-3 tsp
Salt according to taste
Oil for deep  frying
3 cups Dahi
2 tsp  powder suger
Pomegranate for garnishing



How to make  dahi  bhalle

Take  overnight socked  Urad  dal in grinder  put one green  chilly ,one ginger slice and salt   and grind  it, make a smooth  and fluffy  batter.


Add 1tsp baking soda  and keep  it for 10-15 minutes for  rest.

With wet palms add small portion  of batter
Into hot oil. Deep fry the bhallas till golden  brown.

For dahi

Whisk  dahi with powder  suger. Keep it in fridge to cool.

How to serve

In a plate place bhallas. Break them a little from the middle.
Add sweetened  curd, khatti chutney,  mithi chutney.  Sprinkle Black pepper  powder,
Red chilly powder, Roasted cumin  seeds powder.

Garnish  with pomegranate  and  serve.
