Stuffed aloo tikki



Here is an easy recipe  for aloo tikki. Aloo tikki is made of mashed potatoes crusthe. stuffed  with peas filling and shallow  fried.
Serve it with green  chutney  or mithi.

Ingredients

4 large boiled potatoes (aloo)
1/2 tsp salt or according  to taste
1/2 tsp black  pepper.

For stuffing :

2/3 cup matar (green peas) boiled
One slice ginger
1/2 tsp garam Masala
Salt according  to taste
Chilly according  to taste
1/2 tsp Roastedcumin seeds
Oil for frying

How to make aloo tikki

Take boiled green  peas  and mash them  properly and add all the stuffing  spices in to this and mix well except  oil. And keep aside
Peel the boiled aloo and mash them properly  make  a smooth  texture. Add black  pepper  and salt.and mix well.

Now wash and dry your hands and rub them with  little  oil

Take some portion of potatoes mixture  and make ball now
 

Taking one ball at time, gently  flatten  ball and stuff with stuffing  mixture and make  again a balls and  gently press each ball
 with your hand.

Now tikki ready for frying, take some oil into a pan  and fry them  both sides till crispy and golden brown, adding some oil if required on very low flame.


Serve aloo tikki  with green and mithi chutney.
